Introduction to Self Protection This intensive course demands a high level of physical fitness and is specifically designed for those who already have an experience of training in a physical discipline. From Traditional Japanese Martial Arts to Historical European Martial Arts to Modern Fencing, we don't ask for a specific level of expertise, simply that you are fit and healthy and used to hard work.
Book HereSafe Self Protection - Level 1 This two day course has no minimum fitness level and is suitable for everyone. Specifically appropriate for beginners to Self Protection and designed with Shift Workers in mind this course gives you all the techniques you need to begin your journey along the road that leads to personal safety.
This course will run in June 2008 and will cost £55 per person Safe Self Protection - Level 2 This weekend course builds on the knowledge and skills obtained during the Level 1 course. It re-visits all the areas covered and introduces more advanced concepts such as defense against weapons as well as the use of equalisers. It also looks more thoroughly at the Law and how it relates to self protection.
Safe Self Protection - Adrenaline Awareness This single day course is an intensive look at both the theory of the fight of flight reaction and the practical applications of this knowledge. It includes an in depth look at the relevant anatomy and physiology of the adrenaline response. It covers the psychological and sociological factors relating to fight or flight, a number of high pressure drills to increase awareness fo the specific effects of adrenaline as well as methods of inducing the fight or flight response in others.
